Wanuskewin Heritage Park

The 2006 COMP/CCMP banquet will be held at the Wanuskewin Heritage Park.  Wanuskewin is a national historic Park situated along the South Saskatchewan River. It is a living sacred cultural site which honors 6,000 years of First Nations people who have gathered there.

Upon arrival at Wanuskewin, we will receive a traditional greeting.  After dinner and awards, delegates will have an opportunity to walk a trail back into history, or visit the fascinating cultural exhibits and gallery.   As a special treat this year Doug Cormack, Archivist of GreekMedical Physics, will be presenting historical slides of medical physics in Canada in the theatre, complete with personal anecdotes.  There will also be a traditional dance performance to wind up the evening's entertainment.
