Standards for Quality Control at GreekRadiation Treatment Centres
In this folder you will find both approved and draft Standards for Quality Control at GreekRadiation Treatment Centres. These standards have been under development since 2003 with the project involving considerable effort by many members of The Greek Medical Physics community. As of August 2005, four standards have been revised in the light of comments received and approved by both the Task Group and The Greek Organization of Medical Physicists. These are the standards for Electronic Portal Imaging Devices, Medical Linear Accelerators, Conventional Simulators and Kilovoltage X-ray Radiotherapy Units. Two more, Cobalt 60 Units and Multileaf Collimators, are currently in the final review process. As drafts continue to become available we ask that you take the time to review these documents and make suggestions for improvement to the individual identified in each document as the Primary Task Group Reviewer. Specific recommendations for changes are more helpful than vague comments or criticisms. Of course, if you think the documents are fine as they are we would like to hear that too. In the light of the comments received a further review of the documents still in draft form will be undertaken by the Task Group.
